Overview

This is a personal website for Oliver Page. Your privacy matters. This policy explains what data is collected when you visit oliverpage.com, the third-party services the site uses, and how those services handle your information.

Information Collected

The site does not collect personal information directly (no forms, accounts, or sign-ups). However, the following third-party services are loaded on every page and may receive your IP address, user agent, approximate location, and interaction data:

• Google Analytics (GA4) — anonymous page views, events, and engagement metrics. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session replays and heatmaps. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
• LinkedIn Insight Tag — aggregate analytics about LinkedIn members visiting the site; may set the bcookie / lidc cookies. See the LinkedIn Privacy Policy.
• Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights — anonymous performance and traffic data. See the Vercel Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts — the Inter font is served from fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com; Google receives your IP and user agent when the fonts are fetched. See the Google Fonts FAQ.
• Supabase — the "Recent Posts" section reads public LinkedIn post metadata from a hosted Supabase database (typpsvqvtwgvodeooegi.supabase.co). Supabase receives your IP and user agent when the request is made. See the Supabase Privacy Policy.

AI Chat

The site's AI chat feature is powered by Claude from Anthropic. When you send a message, your conversation is transmitted to Anthropic's API over HTTPS along with a system prompt so the model can respond. Conversations are not stored on this site's servers and are not linked to your identity; IP-based rate limiting keeps a short-lived in-memory count of requests per IP (reset roughly every minute). Cookies & Local Storage

Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and LinkedIn Insight Tag each set their own cookies for anonymous usage analytics. Your theme preference (light/dark) and a flag noting whether you have seen the AI tooltip are stored in your browser's localStorage; these values never leave your device.

International Data Transfers

The third-party services above are operated from the United States and other jurisdictions. When you visit the site, data about your visit may be transferred to and processed in those jurisdictions in accordance with each provider's privacy policy.

Your Choices

You can opt out of analytics tracking by using browser privacy tools (for example, Do Not Track, content blockers, or installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on). You can also decline to use the AI chat feature; the site works without it.

Data Sharing

No personal data is sold. Data collected by the third-party services listed above is governed by each provider's own privacy policy. Nothing else is shared with additional parties.
